ABOUT THIS PUBLICATION
Corrections and publication updates
This record summarizes product, compatibility and publication updates. Original article addresses remain available or redirect to the relevant current guide.
October 26, 2026 — buying criteria and eight new comparisons
The four main tablet guides and their twenty supporting comparisons were reviewed together. Each recommendation now separates the general mobile-work brief from specialist display, software and keyboard-layout requirements. The wired-monitor and keyboard-layout articles retain their addresses with more specific titles and category descriptions. Published specifications, calculations, external review observations and suggested working examples are identified separately.
Eight new long-form comparisons cover large-page portability, course documents, daily work, handwritten explanations, proposals, a portable office and two keyboard-and-pen systems. Each links to its main buying guide, supporting product documentation and relevant alternatives. Article metadata, category lists and the sitemap reflect this publication.
October 22, 2026 — clearer guide and reference copy
Repeated editorial notices were shortened across articles, image captions and reference pages. The comparison method now brings the source and calculation approach together in one place. Product specifications, compatibility conditions, image credits and supporting references remain attached to the relevant comparisons.
October 20, 2026 — recommendations and laptop collection
Twenty tablet comparisons and their four main guides were revised to open with recommendations and the reasons behind each choice. Their existing addresses and original publication dates were retained. The laptop collection added forty comparisons across travel, graduate study, remote work and teaching.
October 19, 2026 — study and monitor categories
The quantitative-study comparison groups choices by handwritten explanation, Math Notes and eligible calculator functions. The wired-monitor comparison distinguishes documented display support, memory configuration and removable storage. Yoga Tab Plus and Idea Tab Pro are both described with their cited 12.7-inch displays and DP-Out. Updated category diagrams and structured lists follow these distinctions.
The revision also added iPad PivotTable support, the separate VBA requirement, iPad Air display support, Galaxy S10 FE display conditions, BOOX transfer requirements and storage-planning examples.
October 16, 2026 — model and application details
Twenty series articles and four main guides gained more precise model, stylus, window-management and software-version details. Xiaomi AI Calculator is tied to its regional and application conditions. Galaxy Tab S11 remains a named compact alternative with its generation clearly identified.
October 10–12, 2026 — illustrations and study comparisons
The four tablet series were organized into five articles each, with three focused comparisons and two shortlists. Part-time study and client-work choices are included within those series. Product breakdowns and complete-kit calculations were updated; ten additional work-and-study articles cover distinct course and professional tasks. Manufacturer image credits and original decision diagrams accompany the relevant sections.
The Huawei tablet-plus-keyboard calculation remains approximately 817 g, with the pen, charger and additional protection counted separately. The guides identify the global 12-inch MatePad Air, M4 iPad Air, Galaxy Tab S11 and Surface Pro 12-inch configurations discussed.
October 4–10, 2026 — navigation and source updates
Related material was brought together in the current guides and specialist articles. Previous article addresses redirect to relevant retained pages, and navigation and the sitemap use current destinations. Source updates include display-area calculations, pen and WPS compatibility, USB cable specifications, web macro requirements and platform window guidance.
